I cannot recommend Home IV, Dr Jamie Hossack and his wonderful nurse Jane highly enough!

Living with Lupus SLE and fibromyalgia can be incredibly challenging, especially when it comes to managing energy levels, strength and stability. Having a vitamin and mineral IV treatment tailored specifically to my individual needs has been such a positive experience.

Dr Jamie Hossack took a personalised approach to my care, ensuring the package was tailored to me, while Jane was absolutely lovely, attentive and reassuring throughout the whole experience. The level of care, professionalism and compassion they both showed made me feel completely comfortable and in safe hands.

Following my treatment, I felt I had the boost in energy and strength I needed, and it was such a relief to have this service available in my own home. When you are living with chronic conditions, travelling long distances to attend clinics can be exhausting in itself. Exceptional care, compassion and peace of mind.

I cannot recommend this home IV antibiotic service highly enough. When you have a 90-year-old nan with an advanced care directive stating that she wishes to remain at home and not be admitted to hospital, finding a service that can honour her wishes while providing the treatment she needs is absolutely invaluable.

The team provided a tailored course of IV antibiotics in the comfort of her own home, with the guidance of Dr Jamie Hossack, and the results have been wonderful. Her infection has completely cleared, and she has returned with an increased level of function. To see her recover so well, without having to go through the distress of a hospital admission, has meant more to me than words can express.

The care and attention we received throughout were exceptional. The nurse Jane was not only incredibly attentive, kind and reassuring towards my nan, but also so thoughtful and supportive towards me. Knowing that my nan was safe, comfortable and in such capable hands meant I could finally relax and rest in the other room, without feeling that I had to be constantly by her side to make sure she was okay. That peace of mind was priceless.

What truly stood out was the personalised approach, the compassion shown to us both, and the genuine commitment to respecting my nan’s wishes while ensuring she received the treatment she needed.

I hope that you all realise how much you enhanced Mum’s quality of life in those last couple of months. The drips were clearly working and she herself was saying “I see the difference.”

I have been using Home IV for 6 months now and find it to be a very efficient and friendly service. The nurses that come have all been well qualified and professional and have been a pleasure to be treated by and it is such an enjoyable luxury to be treated at home. The equipment needed is always posted punctually on time. The CT scans have shown that the cancer I am treating is shrinking and I feel confident that the Vit C is a major contributor to the protocol I am following.

I am extremely grateful that I found the Home IV service. It’s made such a difference to be able to have a fully qualified oncology nurse come into your own home and use a port to administer the IV’s. It has been an absolute blessing. There was nowhere close to me that I could easily access IV’s. To get these infusions would involve a lot of travelling and even then I haven’t found anywhere with fully qualified nurses to be able to administer these via my port. Like many people living with a cancer diagnosis, I don’t have good veins and so to be able to get these administered by my port makes such a difference. Dr Jamie Hossack has also arrange prescriptions of off label medication that I require.

I’ve been using Home IV for vitamin C infusions for about two months now. Dr Jamie and Zoë are so incredibly helpful and make everything so easy. The vitamin C arrives at my home with all the necessary medical kit including port grippers, a pump, flushing saline etc. The nurse turns up and fits the drip, it’s a seamless process. Previously I’ve had to travel significant distances to get this supplement, having it done in the comfort of my own home at such a lower price is much appreciated. Thank you for setting up this service and thank you for being so kind and welcoming. This journey is tough but guys like you make it much more pleasurable.
