If you have a PICC line or port fitted we may be able to use this, we’ll need to check the attachment is compatible with our infusions, if not our nurses are all trained in cannulating for each visit.
Prior to starting vitamin infusions you will need to complete a G6PD blood test from your GP, to check your enzyme levels to ensure you aren’t susceptible to haemolytic anaemia. The possibility of this being an issue is extremely low but this is a legal requirement before any treatment can start.
Most patients take anywhere between 40-60 minutes for the infusion to complete, however everyone is different so please allow plenty of time.
Once you’ve had your consultation and agreed a treatment plan, your dedicated nurse will be in touch to arrange an appointment schedule to suit you and your requirements.
The minimum time to see benefits from the infusions will be after 3-4 sessions.
For most patients there are very little side effects with the infusions however some patients have reported some nausea, fatigue or feeling cold during and after infusions, if this happens, please let us know and we can help mitigate these effects.
Our service comes in blocks of 12 infusions to ensure the full benefits are received, priced at £280 per infusion.
Please note an additional blood test* may be necessary if undertaking a course of high dose vitamin C.
